Evaluation question 2

Through out the whole music video we use a comic book effect theme, So i decided to keep that theme going all the way through the ancillary products. The digipak is mostly made up of stills from the video. I also made a clear recognisable logo to represent Amber Gold and I used the same two fonts  on the ancillary products.

I tried to take the Comic book theme further on my digipak by making each page look like its part of a comic book. I think the comic book theme suited the audience because our main target audience was teenagers up to early 20's. I think they will like the colours and the use of effects because it is different to most other artists.

I used the same picture from the digipak front cover to be the picture because i feel thats what people will familiarize with because its the first side they will see of the digipak.
I think our audience will easily recognise these as linked products because of the whole comic book "cartoon" effect. And also the same colour scheme has been used between the music video and ancillary products. I tried to stay with Gold Purple White and Black as the main colours. The gold was especially important because it ties in with the artist's name. The inspiration behind linking the artists name with the video and ancillary products was from Ellie Goulding. There are strong links shown in her video for her single "Starry Eyed"

As you can see there are very strong elements of gold througout her video and on her digipak. This was the effect I was trying to emulate just in a different style (comic book style).
