Feedback of roughcut

Generally, we got quite a positive feedback about our music video. One of the criticisms we got was that the green screen wasn't used. Evidently, to improve our video, we are planning to change the background into purple and use other effects so that our video doesn't become boring. There's also the blank part during the beginning of the video that needs to be filled as well.

As you can see we haven't changed all of the green screen sequences, we plan to make them either different color or keep one color throughout the video.

Overall we managed to edit a lot, including a lot of transitions and quick cuts form the start. The majority of the video is filmed in front of a green screen, we plan to add colors to the green screen background. We also plan to fill in the gaps that have been left in the rough cut as well as add the scenes from outside, preferably at the bridge of the song. We have many changes to make but overall i think we managed to produce the music video very well, using quick editing to effect.

Feedback from rough cut

In our rough cut certain faults were identified the lip syncing, background colour and some part where left blank. We are now going to check over some scene in which i am performing to make sure the lip sync is in time and my dancing is on the beat. We also need to make sure the editing is as quick and up tempo as the music. We also need to make the background colour consistent and all parts of the green screen have been selected. We also need to pick appropriate scenes for the parts that have been left blank and make sure they involve dancing.

Rough cut analysis.

Upon watching our group's rough cut video, I noticed some things that we needed to work on. In our rough cut, there's five seconds in the beginning which isn't filled and is currently just a black background. A lot of the footage we have is camilla behind the green screen and because we haven't decided what the background is going to be, the green screen is left as it is, which obviously doesn't look very good. There's also problems with lip syncing in some parts of the video.

Having realised these faults, we're going to make our video better by filling the parts which were left blank,  edit our video so that the green screen is used effectively, fix the lip syncing problems. As well as these, our group should also do fast paced edits, to keep up with the rhythm and the tempo of the music.

Feedback of the rough cut.

We had quite positive feedback about our music video, there was one main issue which was the green screen. On our rough cut the green screen bits are hadnt been edited in any way but we've planned to change the green screen to a purple background.
